Stealth Jordan Shoes For Basketball

The shoe that kept Michael Jordan with Nike and created a shoe dynasty. The shoe that saved the Air Jordan line of shoes. The greatest Jordan shoe ever made. The first Jordan shoe designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. The shoe that is considered to be a masterpiece. The shoe that used elephant print, the most creative design ever used on a basketball shoe. However you want to label it, the Jordan III is can legitimately be named the best Jordan shoe ever made.

Originally released in 1988, the Air Jordan III revolutionized the signature line that the great Michael Jordan rocked for 15 years. The shoe was the creation of Tinker Hatfield, the Nike shoe designer that would eventually make the Jordan line the most successful line of basketball shoes ever made. At the time Hatfield was brought in to create this shoe, one Michael Jordan was seriously considering jumping ship with Nike and signing with Adidas. Hatfield quickly put an end to that possibility. The Jordan 3 came complete with a high-performance leather upper, an anatomically correct Durapontex sockliner, and of course the iconic elephant print. This shoe would make history. Michael took one look at this shoe and that history was made.

The year of 2011 has seen more than it’s fair share of Jordan Retro 3 releases. The most recent version of the shoe has dropped in a Stealth/Varsity Red/Light Graphite/Black colorway. The shoe uses both Stealth Grey and Graphite on a leather upper. Black takes care of the midsole, tongue, and back heel panel. Varsity Red is featured as accents on the Jumpman logo on the tongue and heel tab as well as the lace eyelets. A solid White rubber outsole finishes off another edition of the greatest Jordan ever made.

In addition to this colorway there are several more that are still slated for release. Yes, the greatest Jordan of all time will be dropped in more epic colorways. Next up is the “Black Flip” followed by perhaps the most epic colorway that this shoe has ever dropped in. The Black/Cement colorway will release this coming December and is sure to sell out in a matter of hours. That’s what happened when the “True Blue” colorway dropped last June. The Jordan Retro III is just that popular.

So don’t sleep on this latest edition of the Jordan 3 that has been dubbed “Stealth”. It is very rare that a Jordan Retro 3 is available after the first week of it’s release. This one is. And anytime you have a chance to cop a pair of the greatest pair of Jordan shoes for basketball, it is an opportunity you must take advantage of.
